Subscription Reports generate monitoring reports automatically on a recurring schedule. You can schedule reports to run daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly and send them by email to one or more recipients.

Use Subscription Reports when you need to review monitoring results regularly without generating reports manually.

Use a One-Time Report if you need a report immediately. One-Time Reports generate a report once and do not create a recurring schedule. For instructions, see Generate a One-Time Report later in this article.

  1. Go to Reports > Report Subscriptions.
  2. Select New Subscription.
  3. Configure the subscription settings.
  4. Select Create Subscription.

Generate a One-Time Report

In addition to scheduled subscription reports, Dotcom-Monitor allows you to generate reports on demand and access the results immediately, with no recurring subscription required.

Each generated report is assigned a unique Report ID and is recorded in Report History, where you can search for the report by its ID.

Ways to Generate a Report

Dotcom-Monitor provides several ways to generate reports on demand. Depending on the method you choose, you can generate reports for a single monitoring device or multiple devices simultaneously using the bulk report generation option.

Location Scope
Reports > Generate Single device, group of devices, or account-wide, depending on the report type.
Device Manager > Select a device > Actions (â‹®) > Reports > Generate Selected device only.
Device Manager > Select multiple devices > Bulk Actions > Reports > Generate Each selected device. A separate report is generated for each device.

Generate a Report

  1. Select a Report Type. Choose one of the available report types. For descriptions of each report, see Choose a Report above.
  2. Configure Report Settings. One-time reports use the same configuration options as report subscriptions (see Configure Report Settings), except that no delivery schedule is required.

Manage Report Subscriptions

After you create a subscription, it appears under Reports > Report Subscriptions, where you can:

  • Review the subscription configuration.
  • Edit or delete the subscription.
  • Postpone report generation without changing the subscription settings.
  • Filter the subscription list

At the device level, the device’s Report Subscriptions tab shows how many subscriptions include that device and allows you to open the account-wide subscription list filtered for that device.

Use Report History to find generated reports, review execution history, and verify successful report generation.
