AI Data Analysis is a Beta feature that uses a third-party AI service to analyze web performance metrics. It generates insights to help you interpret monitoring and load testing results more quickly.

For AI analysis, Dotcom-Monitor sends the selected report data to the cloud for processing by a third-party, commercial large language model — similar to those from major AI providers such as OpenAI, Google, or Anthropic. Do not submit sensitive, confidential, personal, regulated, or proprietary information unless permitted by your organization’s policies.

How AI Data Analysis Works

After an account Admin enables AI Data Analysis for the account, users can request AI assistance to analyze supported reports. Before the analysis begins, the user must review and accept the data processing consent notice. Once consent is provided, Dotcom-Monitor sends the selected report data to a third-party AI service, which analyzes the data and returns AI-generated insights.

The consent notice must be accepted each time a report is analyzed and applies only to the current analysis request.

How To Enable AI Data Analysis

A Dotcom-Monitor user with Administrator permissions needs to complete this procedure once for the account.

  1. Go to Account Settings > Preferences.
  2. Under Options, locate AI Data Analysis.
  3. Turn on the AI Data Analysis toggle.
  4. Save Changes.

The setting is applied immediately.

After AI Data Analysis is enabled, the AI Analysis tab becomes available for your account users with the access to monitoring or load test session reports.
