MetricsView reports provide performance monitoring data for individual devices or aggregated statistics across multiple devices. Reports support troubleshooting, trend analysis, threshold compliance monitoring, and performance evaluation.

MetricsView Device-Level Reports

Device-level reports provide monitoring results for a specific MetricsView device and are available from the device Actions menu or under Reports > Subscription Reports > New Report. Available reports are descibed below.

Executive Summary Report (PDF)

The Executive Summary Report is a scheduled report that can be configured from the Reports tab within a device and delivered automatically on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.

The Executive Summary Report provides a high-level overview of monitored performance over a selected period, including:

  • Percentage and duration of time metrics remained within or outside configured thresholds
  • Timeline of within-range and outside-range periods
  • Average, minimum, and maximum counter values
  • Metric trend charts and statistical summaries

Reports can be generated in PDF.

Summary Report (CSV)

Contains all individual monitoring results of MetricsView Counters including Time Monitored, Status Aggregated Counter Value, Number of Collected Samples, If there is an error, the reason for the error.

Monitoring Session Log

Displays detailed monitoring session data, including collected counter values, statuses, and errors.

Device Overview Report

Provides detailed performance analysis, including:

  • Aggregated Counter Value
  • Collected Samples whithin a session
  • Session Status
  • Uptime/downtime statisctics
  • Performance by monitored counter
  • Error statiscics (if present)

SLA Report

Displays service level statistics and threshold compliance data.

Metrics Overall Report

The report aggregates monitoring data across multiple MetricsView devices and are available under Reports > Subscription Reports > New Report > Metrics Overall.

Provides account-level performance statistics for selected MetricsView devices, including:

  • Timeline of within-range and outside-range periods based on configured thresholds
  • Average, minimum, and maximum counter values by device
  • Aggregated performance statistics for the selected reporting period
