User Account Types – Operator

operator account

A new User Account option, Operator, has been added. The Operator role is similar to the Viewer role (read-only user role). The Operator role can only view data in the system and cannot make updates, however, the Operator roles has two additional privileges:

  • Postponing monitoring for a device
  • Silencing alerts

There is no limitation on the number of Operator users within a website monitoring account.

To add a user as an Operator, you must first log into your Dotcom-Monitor account. Hover over Account in the top-right navigation and select Users. From there you will be able to add a user or edit a user’s existing role.
