What Is the Dotcom-Monitor Mobile App?

The Dotcom-Monitor mobile app is a free companion app for active Dotcom-Monitor customers. It brings your monitoring dashboard to your iPhone or Android device, giving you instant access to device status, performance reports, and push notifications — without opening a laptop.

The app is designed for incident response and on-call workflows. When an alert fires at 2 AM, you can open the app, check which locations are failing, silence noisy alerts, and pause monitoring for a device under maintenance — all from your phone.

Configuration and advanced setup remain on the full web platform at dotcom-monitor.com. The mobile app focuses on what matters most when you’re away from your desk: visibility, alerts, and quick control.

Push Notifications

Receive real-time alerts the moment a monitor detects a failure, even when the app is closed. Subscribe to specific notification groups so you only get alerts relevant to your team.

Start & Stop Monitoring

Run or pause individual devices — or select multiple devices and change their status in bulk. Useful during planned maintenance windows when you need to suppress monitoring immediately.

Alert Silence

Mute notifications for a device for up to 24 hours without stopping the monitor itself. Silence a single device or multiple devices at once during deployments or scheduled downtime.

SSO & PIN Security

Enterprise accounts with Single Sign-On can authenticate via SSO PIN. All users can set a numeric PIN to secure the app on shared or personal devices.

Multi-Account Support

Switch between multiple Dotcom-Monitor accounts from the user profile menu. Ideal for agencies managing monitoring for multiple clients or teams managing separate environments.

On-Call Engineer

You receive a push notification at 2 AM that an API endpoint is down. You open the app, check the Log by Location view, and confirm the failure is isolated to the EU-West region. You silence alerts for the affected device, page the on-call team, and go back to sleep — all from your phone.

DevOps Lead

Before a production deployment, you pause monitoring for the services being updated directly from the app. After deployment completes, you re-enable monitoring and watch the Device Status list for any failures — without opening a laptop.

Yes. If your account administrator has enabled SSO, you can sign in using your SSO PIN by tapping ‘SSO Login’ on the login screen.

On first login, you’ll be prompted to allow notifications. You then subscribe to specific notification groups. Dotcom-Monitor sends push notifications when a monitor in your subscribed groups detects a failure.

The app is available for iPhone (iOS) and Android devices. Android requires version 5.0 or higher.
