The ActiveSync protocol can also perform round-trip email monitoring. ActiveSync can test the ability to send an email from one of our monitoring locations and receive an email from the server by that remote device. The key difference between the ActiveSync and standard round-trip process is that the round-trip method allows you to view email move across multiple servers using a third-party email provider. With ActiveSync, your email resides on a single server.
Specify the email delivery timeout time in minutes. The receiving operation will be repeated until the email timeout is reached.
The DNS options feature allows users to choose how DNS requests are conducted during a monitoring task.
The custom DNS hosts section contains the mappings of IP addresses to hostnames.
